What is a clinical psychologist

The role of clinical psychologists is to understand and reduce psychological distress, and to enhance and promote psychological wellbeing. Clinical psychologists are highly trained in providing quality assessment and therapy, which helps individuals to increase ways of coping whilst feeling better about themselves. Therapy is informed by the latest theory, research and evidence base.

Location

Sessions can take place online via video or by phone. I also have clinic space in Central London and in Wimbledon. Home visits may be available on request; however my fee may be more to cover travel in these instances, dependant on location.

*Please note that at present, due to Covid-19, face to face sessions are very limited and I am currently unable to offer face to face sessions in Central London.

Confidentiality

Everything that we discuss is confidential; the only exception is if I have concerns about your safety, the safety of others or if I hear the details of a crime.

Cancellation

48 hours notice must be given if you are cancelling a session otherwise fees will apply
